Chapter 3
2. Who is Burris Ewell? How does his situation compare with that of Walter Cunningham?
He is a unclean and impoverished boy. Walter Cunningham come school every day however Burris Ewell come first day every year and then leave.

4. When Atticus explains that "the Ewells were members of an exclusive society [and] ... the common folk judiciously allowed then certain privileges"(p. 34), what does he mean?
I think they dont have any possibility of progress so people want to leave them.



Chapter 4
1. What do you think Scout intends by remarking that:"The remainder of my schhooldays were no more auspicious than the first" (p.36)?
It means schooldays are always same and routine


2. What is it about the oaks at the edge of the Radley lot that attracts Scout's attention? What surprises do the trees yield?
They found very old coin which is 1900s. They believed that coin give them luck. so Jem decide that he will keep the coin.


5. What game do the children invent to amuse themselves? What are Scout's reasons for wanting to quit the game?
They invent to a 'Boo Radley' game. She wanted to quit the game because its scary.
